Farwell To Thorn Court, Salford. 28/05/07
Can't say how happy I am to be away from this place and back in M14, but it was an experience living in a tower block and not one that I'd happily go through again. Though it is much better than living in a bedsit and the view was fantastic, but onwards and downwards I go. Oh and if the numbtae who complained to the residents asscoiation about me using two lifts to flit reads this, then you can go and boil yer heed ye big ponce, cause We maliciously continued to use both lifts after you complained. ha ha ha

To the person who said the block is full of "faggots" people who make such comments are in denial and afraid or unsure of their own sexuality, you need to get out of the closet, and start to live in the real world.
There are many good people who live on this block and respect other unlike you, get a life and stop being a bigot.

HA1 HA! Those that shout the loudest usually have the most to hide! What a prick!
I have more of a problem with the unnecessary use of the broad generalisation "full" (it's probably 10% at most) and the grotesque use of the verb "crawling" (like insects or worms), than I do with the use of the term "faggot". If someone's gay they don't HAVE to mince about the place acting like a faggot any more, this is 2012, they can act in a completely normal way and STILL be totally accepted by society. And if someone does choose to act like a faggot, what does that have to do with that person's sexuality anyway? Plenty of straight people are faggots.
If you think Thorn Court is bad you should try living in some of the flats in M14, all are built out of either steel and cardboard, or damp bricks, and with students and drug dealers for neighbours. Brilliant.
Cant comment on Thorn but its twin Spruce Court is a great place. well built, good security, large flats.
I doubt thorn is any different
