Shudehill Metro Station, 21/02/06

For some strange reason the metrolink station at Shudehill has this very nice roof on top of it, I am not sure why this is and don't really care. The two photos I posted today were taken within an hour of each other and both show dramatically different skies, just with till the summer when we get 5 different types of weather in one day.

I love these urban shots. The previous one of the two modes of transport alongside each other is a good one too. You got the framing real good on that one.

Manchester's great urban/industrial environment is one of the nice things about living here.
One of the other great visual aspects of this city as you rightly point out is the constantly changing weather and skyline.

It is a sign that I have been living here too long, that I get excited about the rain, and am disapointed if I don't get at least one daily soaking

As Morrissey said last year on the Jonathon Dross show one of the things he misses most about Manchester is the Slate Grey Sky. I know what he means. You have to live here to truly appreciate it..
